Ну а по манильским галеонам - отдельный разговор. Скажу одно - судов в 1000 или 1200, или - не дай бог - в 2000 тонн почти не было. Чаще всего это были обычные 700- или 600-тонники, знакомые нам по Непобедимой Армаде.
